I WOULD like to notify Digicel, one of the Telecommunication network providers that one of its Digicel towers at Diodio on Goodenough Island in Milne Bay Province has been damaged due to heavy winds last two weeks ago.  This has resulted in the communication cut-off for the last two weeks. The tower was built at the end of last year 2014 and beginning of this year it was launched. The people have enjoyed the communication service and applauded the service provider, Digicel. The place is in the remotest part of Milne Bay province but Digicel provided the communication link for this people with the outside world. However, due to this problem encountered, the people are now cut-off completely to the outside world. With this regard, the people of Diodio now kindly requesting if the service provider could immediately send their technical officers to fix the tower and restore the service again.
