Disciplinary forces

Letters

THE country has more than enough disciplinary forces already on the ground at the moment so the recruitment drives should not to be considered at this time when financial situation of this country is not improving.
It has been observed that some or most disciplinary forces are not being fully utilised in playing active roles and are doing nothing, or less, in those respective disciplinary force units that they are attached with, may be due to funding constraints.
It is time the responsible government departments to freeze employment until the debt level of this country is reduce to be more manageable.
As it is now, the government is facing a bit hectic times to properly manage public service officer’s payroll and the addition of manpower into the public service workforce like the police or defence force recruitments will add more financial stress on the government.
It is time the government cut down on recruitments and concentrate on paying off loans.
The government cannot continue getting loans while conducting recruitments when the country is going through such a financial burden.
It is ok to go on with recruitments or continue spending on inviable activities but funding is a big problem at a time when the government is uneconomically sound.
There are times to sacrifice and there are times to reap the harvest of those sacrifices when the time is right.
