District needs change

Letters

TO date, nothing tangible has been improved in the Obura-Wonenara administration under the banner of ‘Owan’ to bring forward the necessary development.
There is no proper administration office station to solve the affairs of people who deserve to see some changes in their respective communities.
Can the district administration do something and advertise positions so that other highly qualified professionals can be able to serve the people of Obura-Wonenara to deliver much needed service?
There is a great vacancy in the district development authority in which millions of kina was misused and misappropriated because of the poor administration management that neglected remote communities.
For four decades, people of Obura-Wonenara missed out on vital services such as road accessibility to medical care, better education, law and order issues, and transportation of fresh produce such as coffee.
We need unity and a prosperous leader because unity is the best solution for change.
This is a call to the public service professionals who work in the district, provincial, and national level to collaborate with qualified bureaucrats to push for better accountability and put in a person person to bring change in the district.
This is the time for change.
How can we achieve the government’s vision if the district administration continues to deviate from its objectives?
Put the light at the end of the tunnel and let the people see sunshine out of dark clouds.
We cannot be silent and be voiceless about the issues with the current administration.
The current district administration needs replacement.
The replacement has to happen for the good of people of Obura-Wonenara.
