TAMBUL-Nebliyer MP Win Bakri Daki has put aside K1 million for school fee assistance for tertiary students in his electorate this year.
The cheque is now with district chief executive Philip Talpa, Daki said.
“Human resources development is the key to advancing this district,” he said.
“This district can be developed by an educated population and I am very serious about helping parents get our young people educated.
“I have committed to ensure young people in my electorate receive quality education.”
He said students from Tambul-Nebliyer who will be studying in tertiary institutions this year must give in their names so that their fees can be paid.
