Does the Govt have plans?

AS the world is conquered by Covid-19, most countries have put in place short-term and long-term strategic measures for its workforce.
All employees are taking two weeks off with full pay and exempted from paying taxes.
Does the Government have in place short-term plans for the citizens as we prepare for Covid-19?
Government agencies and private organisations should allow their employees to remain at home for two weeks with full pay.
The Government can do that or come up with something better.
I hope it is not running out of ideas.
There are capable officers who should be advising the Government on better plans to prepare for the coronavirus.
