POPONDETTA Rugby League competition leaders Bulldogs were forced to an 8-8 draw with Tigers in their round seven match  at the Gugsako Oval on Sunday.
The doggies were lucky as Tigers fullback Vincent Pale missed the easy conversion attempt near the uprights.
Bulldogs were leading 8-0 at half time with tries from Genesis Oresi and George Bungewa.
Tigers replied with two tries in the second half but Pale failed to boot the easy conversion attempt for a possible upset.
The scores were levelled 8-8 to the full time hooter.
As a result the Northern Motel-sponsored Bulldogs still maintain their unbeaten run with five wins and two draws leading the competition with 12 points. Medics are running second on seven points, Tigers on five, and newcomers Tumbe United on four points.
