Don’t be lured by short-term gains

Letters

JUST recently, I went to the village to visit my bedridden father.
While there, I overheard some relatives saying that a particular MP had made a promise that he would give solar kits to everyone who would give him their first vote.
All they had to do was put their names on a guarantee list.
This is not right.
People should not fall for such.
Look at the policies and other meaningful ways of benefiting through their vote instead of personal interests and benefits.
Such benefits last for only a short time.
MPs and candidates who do this lack ideas.
Do not fall for their schemes.
Vote candidates with visions and plans that will bring about meaningful change.
