Double celebration for Western district

THE Delta Fly people of Western celebrated the establishment of their new electorate with dancing and marching around Balimo during the 47th independence celebrations.
The town was painted “red, black and gold” with a lot of excitement and talk about the new electorate.
The district administration funded the celebration with K20,000.
Administrator Tony Simba said the district needed government support to improve and build infrastructures.
While welcoming the people and MP Agena Gamai, Simba said it was a special day for the country and the district.
Simba also told people to reflect on how far they had come and how much they achieved in their lives.
