Dr Sanida made acting director for institute

DR OSBORNE Sanida has been appointed the acting director for the public policy think tank, National Research Institute (NRI), for a period of three months.
According to a national gazette released last Tuesday, the NRI council appointed Dr Sanida as acting director effective from Nov 25 to Feb 25, 2021.
NRI acting chairman Wilson Thompson told The National that the outcomes they looked forward to achieving during Dr Sanida’s acting term and the next three years were launching the NRI corporate plan 2021 to 2023; the NRI 2021 budget and work plan; achieving in the three-year key result areas and key performance indicators; reviewing the long-term vision of NRI; having a succession planning for executive management; performance appraisals for executive management; and, research and publications minimum target for each staff.
“These are some areas to set the stage going into 2021 and the next three years,” Thompson said.
Dr Sanida is a career academic and researcher having spent more than 20 years with the NRI.
