Duma confirms Pundari as new chairman for Kumul Telikom Holdings Ltd

JOHNSON Pundari is the new chairman of the Kumul Telikom Holdings Ltd, according to State Enterprises Minister William Duma.
He confirmed with The National last Friday that Pundari was appointed by Cabinet in November and took office last December.
Pundari replaces Rueben Kautu.
“Pundari was the former deputy chairman of Kumul Telikom Holdings,” he said.
“I’d like to place on record the hard work, commitment and dedication of Kautu when he was the chairman. “I also want to acknowledge the incoming chairman who is not new to Kumul Telikom Holdings.
“He does have experience on the board.”
Pundari is from Waipu village in Enga.
He is currently the executive director of the Institute of Banking Management (IBBM) and is a director of the National Fisheries board.
He has a masters in business administration from Torrens University, Australia.
He has 15 years of private sector experience having worked with ExxonMobil before joining IBBM.
The KTHL group consists of PNG Dataco, bmobile and Telikom Ltd and subsidiaries including Datec, EMTV, PNG Directories and Kalang FM.
