THE Adventist Literacy School at Ramu township graduated 30 adults with certificate in level one Tok Pisin last week.
The adult students received their certificates after completing a three-month training facilitated by adult literacy teachers from the Adventist Literacy School in Ramu.
For most of those who graduated, the training has enabled them read and write.
School teacher Diru Bagoi said participants came from different backgrounds, with some employed by Ramu Agri Industries.
“They were taught home economics, christian religion, social inclusion and numeracy,” Bagoi said.
