Educate people about senseless killings, crimes

THE world is now a small place because of the advancement in technology and other facets of development and life in general.

The messages of love, peace and harmony were brought to this part of the uncivilized world by missionaries, explorers and treasure hunters.

We now have a government, public service and police force that are guided and governed by a constitution.

Elementary school children now can use a mobile phone and customers can transfer money from one bank account to another using the same device.

Aren’t these enough to convince us that human beings have evolved into a much more intelligent and dominant force from the rest of God’s creation?  Why do human beings have to kill other human beings?

This may be justified in the uncivilized days where it was necessary for survival but such acts of violence today is uncalled for and must be condemned in the strongest possible manner.

We do not have any right what so ever to take the life of another fellow human being.

The killing of a teacher, a pastor, a policeman and a six-year-old child in Enga is barbaric.

Governor Sir Peter Ipatas invested so much in education and this is the kind of result he does not want.

Education is not just about getting a degree or job; it is also about changing one’s attitude and outlook on life and getting along with others.

One must learn to love, forget and forgive sometimes.

This vicious act clearly shows that these perpetrators are mentally retarded and their acts are that of ferocious and carnivorous animals.

Such people are a threat to other peace loving citizens of Enga and PNG.

I appeal to the Governor and other leaders to re-educate the people about this uncivilized behavior and stop them from killing other people.
