Education division gets computer

A COMPANY has donated a computer to the Morobe education division to help in quickly printing payslips for teachers, including those who come from remote areas.
Teachers used to wait in long queues at the department to get their payslips.
Fincorp Lae branch manager Sinona Avei donated the computer set to the salaries unit.
“I think the biggest number of teachers in Papua New Guinea is in Morobe. There are over 8000 teachers which is the biggest within a province,” Avei said.
