ENB lockdown was unnecessary

Letters

WHILE we are going through this pandemic with our economic being affected badly, nobody is in their right mind to demand for a lockdown unnecessarily.
East New Britain was given a two-week lockdown.
On that note, I felt sorry for my hard working people, especially the low income earners who are struggling to survive as they are earning little since the break out of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
Compared to Port Moresby, things are normal and people follow protocols considering that outcome is very important for the people to survive, according to the National Capital District (NCD) Governor Powes Parkop.
They follow measures and protocols that are put in place.
The East New Britain people are hardworking and respect laws, they are not slaves for the provincial government to treat them with an unnecessary lockdown.
This shows a weak provincial government and wrong implementation strategy by district administrators as we can tell, so stop misleading the people of East New Britain.
