ENB MPs all talk, no action

Letters

MOST of our East New Britain MPs are “all talk and no action”.
This is an appeal to the people of East New Britain, open your eyes and see if there is any development.
We have seen the rise in social issues and order problems.
The so-called tourism hub and the newest city in Papua New Guinea has fallen.
Leadership and proper management are lacking.
I doubt it is the lack of funding, which is the usual excuse.
Our leaders seem to be interested in other things and not the people’s interest.
They have forgotten the people who voted them.
The people of East New Britain, open your eyes.
And kudos to the people of Pomio for their MP Elias Kapavore.
Other East New Britain MPs should learn from him.
Let’s vote good leaders next year.
As Prof David Kavanamur says: “Good governance is key to the future development of Papua New Guinea.
“Capable and ethical public service at all levels of government – and the participation of all citizens in the delivery of services – is key to the sustainable development and economic growth of the country.”
