Enga cultural show committee receives K10,000 support from Water PNG

WATER PNG has given K10,000 to the Enga cultural show committee for the event this week.
Board director Sandis Tsaka handed over the money to committee chairperson Magaret Potane in Wabag.
Tsaka said Water PNG was happy to support the cultural event.
He said in terms of water quality testing, Wabag always got a top rating. Potane said the PNG Power donation came at a time when they needed funding for the show.
Potane said promoting culture was very important.
“We are trying our best to preserve and promote our different cultures and traditions every year through the cultural show,” she said.
She thanked the provincial government under Governor Sir Peter Ipatas for being the major sponsor every year. She also thanked other companies and individuals for supporting the show over the years.
The show runs from August 10 to 12 at the Aipus rugby league oval.
