CORRECT me if I am wrong but I believe what we are seeing now is two arms of government – the executive and judiciary – at war.
The executive, which is the NEC, has again tried to suspend the chief justice but without success as judges have rallied behind the CJ.
The impasse and the NEC-judiciary war have given PNG a bad impression and investors are turning to other countries in the region where there is stability and order.
This is costing PNG millions of kina as investors may not come back.
