Evaluators to hold conference

 THE Papua New Guinea Association of Professional Evaluators (AoPE) will hold its first national conference  for two days from tomorrow in Port Moresby.

The association is made up of members from organisations aiming to monitor and evaluate the developmental growth of PNG in all aspects.

With its main theme “Understanding Change in Papua New Guinea”, the conference will cover violence against women issues and management and monitoring systems used on projects and studies in developing countries.

The two-day conference will start at 8am and Professor Patricia Rogers from the University of Melbourne  will deliver the keynote.

 Other guest speakers will be from the University of PNG, AusAID, Education Department and the National Economic Fiscal Commission.

The meet is sponsored by AusAID, Australian Evolution Society, Coffey International Development and individuals.
