WHY the cover up prime minister?
I have had it with people hiding behind religion and committing the most heinous crimes.
But lying to the country about the real purpose of the four Chinese entering the country illegally – breaking all protocols from immigrations to the latest National Pandemic Act 2020 – while on the pain of compromising the security and wellbeing of 8 million people is far worse than treason.
How do you expect Papua New Guineans to believe the business tycoon to fly all the way from Vancouver, Canada – trespassing three continents and thousands of miles – to deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) that is worth a meagre K1.5 million?
There is more to the story that’s begging answers than what meets the eye.
Chen Mailin, the person in question, is a high-flyer in hotelier, head of a skyscraper-building conglomerate and a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
This means Mailin is a businessman with strong connections to the Chinese ruling party.
Mailin is not here to discuss Covid-19 while his own country is being ravaged by the second wave of coronavirus – a prototype more deadly than the first.
If he is here to do business, then what kind of business would his kind of venture and investment go to?
Certainly not hotelier when that industry is clearly dying a painful death with the coronavirus epidemic.
We need to ask these kind of questions and have answers because we are not under normal circumstances as yet.
We are under a national emergency.
If it is the mining sector then you cannot put Porgera on the card after your ham-fisted expropriation of the mine sent Barrick – a world class miner – packing and have the devious Chinese to come clean up for you.
Perhaps the Morobe Governor may welcome the Chinese with open arms but then again Morobe is Papua New Guinea is it not?
