Family helps fight poverty

Letters

A GERMAN man, his French wife (Curt and Sandrine von Boguslawski) and their three children dedicated their lives to develop so many communities in all our 22 provinces.
In Bougainville, for instance, they hail him as a chief.
His contributions were to World Vision PNG from 2008 to 2015, and Population Services International PNG (2016 to Jan 2019).
Over the years, so many children, women and men and vulnerable communities benefitted from projects under his leadership.
The organisational staff development programmes had a huge impact.
Many testimonies are spread across businesses, departments, NGOs, and other agencies.
Even back in our rural communities. I myself, for example, hold a senior position with a private company.
My skills were acquired under the programmes of this leader, which has now benefitted my family and community for my life time. I write on behalf of many ex-staff in cleaners, drivers, project staff, managers and the so many communities, to thank him and his family back in Germany.
A special leader and a familiar name in the NGO and development sector, is now understood to be called to development work in Africa.
May the Lord be good to this family, as they move on and continue in this special ministry, fighting to break poverty.
For the management that has taken over, you have done well carrying on with this good work, and we give you due respect also as you among all NGOs contribute to alleviate poverty in PNG.
On behalf of beneficiaries and former staff to WVPNG.
