Family-owned businesses acknowledge partnership

A FAMILY-owned East New Britain firm is grateful for its seven-year partnership with City Pharmacy Limited (CPL) Group which it benefitted from immensely.
DMS marketing manager Genevieve Luana said they had a network of more than 400 farmers who they buy galip nuts from.
“We roast and pack them in the province before sending to CPL Stop and Shop branches in Port Moresby,” Luana said.
“CPL is the biggest buyer, stocking our galip nuts in their shops for seven years now. We are grateful to CPL for the support they have given to us so far.”
Meanwhile, Toguba Kofi small–to-medium enterprise owner George Nori of Western Highlands who established a similar partnership with CPL last year thanked the company for the trade opportunity.
“We started with CPL last year around October,” Nori said.
“We supplied them with our coffee packets sourced from small holders in Western Highlands.
“I am looking forward to continuing with CPL in this partnership to enhance my business.”
CPL has endeavoured to promote and assist Papua New Guineans develop and sustain businesses that supply produce for its Stop and Shop supermarket chain.
