Feel the pain now

Letters

NOW is the time of planting if you are a student. The law of nature: what you sow, you shall reap.
In other words, you will always harvest what you plant. If you plant nothing, you will harvest nothing.
A lot of students go to school, yet don’t take their studies seriously.
The best of the best in the country study every single day. This is reality. They know that in order to pass tests and examinations, they have to study every day. Only average students study once in a while.
Sadly, we are living in an era where technology has disturbed the minds of a lot of young people.
Without doubt, a lot of students spend more time on social media today than in studies.
If you are a student who studies with your social media applications notifications on, you are already disturbed. That is where the pain of discipline comes in.
Discipline is doing whatever it takes to be successful. Not whatever you want. But whatever it takes. The pain of discipline is, however temporary. If you don’t take your studies seriously, you will definitely miss out in the future. That is when you will feel the pain of regret for the rest of your life. It is not a joke. It is your future garden. It is your bread and butter. Teachers and parents have been speaking for so long, but we disobey. The question is, how will you survive in the future? Will you have enough money to cater for your family in the future? Will you live the life you want? If you play around today, believe me, you will miss out big time in the future. So feel the pain now. Start planting in your brain by studying every day.
