Festival gets support – The National

CITY Pharmacy Ltd (CPL) Group, one of the sponsors of the Hiri Moale Festival, now known as the Motu-Koita Festival, presented 120 cartons of bottled water to support the popular cultural event in Port Moresby next month.
The Vanagi (canoe) Race, part of the festival, will be staged on Saturday.
CPL will support the Hiri Hanenamo Quest and organise a stall for free medical checks during the festival.
CPL project officer Oti Lasagavibau said the company was delighted to be supporting the event and would like to see the partnership and relationship between them and the organisers develop.
Motu Koita Assembly chief executive Michael Field said organisers were pleased that the management and staff of CPL had come onboard as a sponsor this year.
He acknowledged and thanked the CPL management for sponsoring the festival in a practical way.
