FIDELMA Lunge, the winner in bmobile’s Krismas Cashpot promotion who won K200,000, says the money will go a long way in improving her life.
Based in Port Moresby, Lunge, who is in her early 30s, from East Sepik with her husband and two sons went to the bmobile head office on Tuesday to complete formalities after her big win.
Telikom head of sales and marketing Nathaniel Lepani presented her with a cheque for K200,000.
Lunge also wished all bmobile and Telikom customers a Merry Christmas and encouraged them to support the proudly 100 per cent PNG-owned mobile network operator.
She became K200,000 richer after winning the entire Cashpot in the final round of nationwide live call outs on Monday.
Lepani said bmobile wanted to do something bigger and better for its customers at Christmas this year, hence the decision to give away K50,000 every week over four weeks in the Krismas Cashpot promotion.
The first three weeks saw no winners, which meant that by Monday this week, in the fourth and final round of live call outs, the Cashpot had jackpotted to K200,000.
That’s when Lunge, the second lucky bmobile customer to be called that morning, answered with the required phrase, “Merry Krismas bmobile” and won herself the biggest, single cash prize ever awarded by a mobile network operator in PNG.
