Find avenue rugby talent

The National Letters

CAN the Government and the PNG Rugby Football League (PNGRFL) apply for a PNG team to play in the New South Wales (NSW) Cup just like the PNG SP Hunters team in the Instrust Super Cup?
We have many rising rugby league stars but only those playing with Hunters are likely to get exposed.
The team consists of about 25 to 30 players and the rest are wasting their talents playing in the Digicel Cup.
How are we going to expose them so NRL or Super League can scout them?
The Government and PNGRFL need to do something quickly.
Use the taxpayer’s money to invest in sports instead of spending on unnecessary things that won’t benefit the nation.

  • I have been watching PNG kids and parents, marriage couples fighting over this code and some even were severe to the point of death whilst some actually died and for what?? Think for a second, is rugby more important than someone’s life??…Stop worshiping some game and live up to talk about how silent majority in the remote PNG can be transformed with needed publich health, goods and services. Im sick of this PNG attitude over rugby>
