Firm confirms acting exec to top post

DAVID Lee has been appointed chief executive officer of Capital Insurance group.
Chairman Michael Koisen said Lee had been acting in the role since last November.
“Lee has strong technical, commercial and leadership background with more than 15 years insurance industry knowledge across a broad range of disciplines in both life and general insurance abroad and locally,” he said in a statement.
Lee has been with the company since September 2017 and held senior executive roles, including group chief insurance officer and general manager of capital life within the group.
Koisen said: “The board of directors have every confidence in him to lead the group and its subsidiaries through its next phase of growth.”
Lee said: “I thank the board for their trust and confidence, and I look forward to continue working very closely with them and the executive team to exceed client and shareholder expectations, and to deliver value to the more than 400,000 Papua New Guinean shareholder members that we represent.”
