Firm donates mill

 BRIAN Bell and Co recently donated a micro rice milling machine to the National Agricultural Research Institute centre for the Southern region at Laloki.

It will used to train farmers in Central and the Southern region to mill their rice.

It was presented at a recent training programme on rice milling jointly conducted by the Taiwanese Technical Mission to PNG and NARI.

NARI Laloki manager Anton Beko urged farmers in Central to attend the training.

“We are here to help you with technical advice on how to prepare land, grow and harvest rice and other crops using small farm machineries. So make use of the opportunity,” Beko said.

He thanked Brian Bell for supporting the farmers with the portable machines.
