Firm gets recognition

A COMPANY in Lae has been awarded the Internet of Things (IoT) project of the year 2021 for its container management system.
MasterSystem Technologies Ltd’s container management system MST operations and business development manager Richard Stegman said their system was built to tackle the many risks faced by clients daily on the Highlands Highway and general container movements around PNG.
“The focus for the technology is to minimise costs, add value, enhance safety and boost productivity whilst attracting a good return on investment,” he said.
“The fundamental element for this project was the implementation of a custom-made dashboard designed by MST and developed with partners in South Africa and Europe.
“This platform collected and analysed real-time data from the hardware and outputted this in a visually appealing and user friendly structure to be accessed by clients remotely.”
