INTERNET service provider Em Stret Holdings is partnering with Bank South Pacific to incorporate online payments onto its website for online shopping and doing businesses.
It started online payments on its website last Friday.
Em Stret chief executive officer Vani Nades said: “Keeping Papua New Guineans connected is what matters the most and we aim to become a household name in PNG.”
Formed in 2014, Em Stret Holdings is a small-medium enterprise (SME) operating in 12 provinces.
“We are an internet service provider providing affordable and reliable internet access to rural schools and communities, corporate and individual clients”, Nades said.
The business has grown to include an e-space co-working space for SMEs, the Little CEO Pizza company and a charity to support communities through education, health, sanitation and sustainable energy.
“Integrating online payments means our customers can shop and pay for our services through our website using the internet. It benefits both the customers and we as a business,” Nades said.
Em Stret Holdings client Keith Iduhu said: “With online payments now integrated into the website for Em Stret Holdings, I can now purchase my internet services online without the need to spend money travelling to the nearest branch to deposit or to the nearest Emstret location to make payments via the Eftpos.
“I can simply use my phone or laptop, log onto their website and make payment any time anywhere 24/7. It is fast, secure and very convenient.”
