Firm launches online payroll software

DIGITEC ICT Limited launched an online payroll software, KinaPay online, aimed at helping companies reduce cost of human resource and payroll support charges.
Digitech chief executive Nirmal Singh told The National on Friday that companies spent a lot of money on payroll software.
He said payroll officers spent a lot of time to sort out salaries hence the software was developed to relieve companies from that burden.
“We can be able to cut down the (extra) cost,” he said.
“Only one person can run the payroll and productivity will be increased.
“We have a payroll software that is available in PNG.
“But companies spend a lot of money to buy the software, along with that, every year, they have to pay for support charges.
“For example, if a company is running a payroll for 2,000 employees, they will be spending about K150,000 per annum on support charges.”
