FONE Haus opened its new flagship store at Central Waigani in Port Moresby on Friday to give customers a new shopping experience, according to general manager Damien Ames.
Ames told The National that it was their second experience store following the one located at Gobe Haus in Lae opened earlier this month.
“Our experience store is a lot bigger and we are selling a lot more items including TVs, laptops, computers and a lot more accessories and gadgets which is what everybody is looking for now.
“We do have plans to upgrade all of our existing stores including at Vision City, Kokopo and opening a new store in Mt Hagen in the next six months.”
Ames said the new flagship store has retail space on the first floor and a FoneFix centre on the second where phones can be repaired.
It features a display units for customers to play with mobile phones, stylishly designed display cabinet, spacious store interior and Fone Geek section where customers with any technical difficulties can be assisted.
“All of our shops will be upgraded into this new design in the next 12 months including the five or six stores that we plan to open in the next 12 months as well,” Ames said.
