Forest Products wins Morobe Show prize

Papua New Guinea Forest Products were awarded the best stand and display award at last weekend’s Morobe Show.
The company also took out third place in the Industrial Manufacturing and Natural section.
National sales manager Peter Rice said: “We’ve had overwhelming interest in our NiuHomes kit homes and NiuBridge modular bridge systems, with literally thousands of people visiting our stand over the two days of the show.
“Employing over 1200 staff, PNGFP is committed to building a better future through sustainable manufacturing practices.
“All timber is sourced from sustainable pine plantations, with sawmilling and manufacturing plants powered by PNGFP’s own sustainable hydro power stations.
“The combination of sustainable timber resources, processed with sustainable hydro power makes PNGFP’S engineered wood products truly and uniquely 100 per cent green.”
Managing director Tony Honey, said they were honoured to win this year’s Best Stand and Display award.
