Former MP Pala among six appointed to MVIL board

FORMER Rigo MP Ano Pala is one of the six new board members appointed by the National Executive Council for the Motor Vehicle Insurance Ltd (MVIL).
State Enterprise Minister William Duma also named Eno Daera as chairman, Dr John McKup as deputy chairman.
The other members are Ian Prentice and Joe Krammer.
Daera has over 50 years of experience in the private and public sectors previously.
He had served both as deputy chairman and acting chairman of the board.
McKup has over 26 years of professional experience in the medical field. He held the positions of medical registrar, senior registrar and medical superintendent in major hospitals.
Pala was a former clerk to Parliament and served as minister for foreign affairs, agriculture, transport, justice and attorney-general in the previous government.
He holds a bachelor of law degree from the University of PNG and a diploma in legislative drafting from the London University.
Krammer has over 27 years of professional experience in public offices such as the Internal Revenue Commission, PNG Customs and the National Gaming Board.
