Foundation lights up Christmas for villagers

PEOPLE of Snow Pass village in Bundi, Madang, were treated to food and entertainment on Christmas Eve organised by the Kumura Foundation.
Foundation director Vincent Kumura said lunch was provided for 21 senior citizens aged between 65 and 90 plus a coffee night.
“We also played photo slides and videos of our work to keep the community informed of our journey,” he said.
On Christmas Day, worship was held in the morning followed by community sports up to 5pm.
He said hundreds of people attended with children given balloons and candies for Christmas.
Margaret Azuwe of Snow Pass said “such joy of Christmas had never been experienced for a long time in the village”.
