THE O’Neill regime’s free education policy has delivered a blow on the Somare’s camp.
One of the reasons many people are supporting the government because of its free education policy.
The support for Sir Michael Somare is fast eroding as more people begin to recognise parliament as the only place to elect the prime minister.
The free education policy has dwarfed everything the Somare government achieved when it was in power for the past nine years.
This has made Peter O’Neill as the people’s prime minister.
Every Papua New Guinean knows the significance and benefits of getting a good education and the O’Neill government has earned a place in their hearts.
Since the policy was announced by O’Neill after taking office as prime minister, many people celebrated.
For the first time the burden has been lifted from the shoulders of the parents and guardians.
Finally taxpayers get to see their money put into good use.
