Fund LLGs

THE local level governments have been silent since the election last August. The Government should consider the importance of this third tier government and resource it with promised funding.
LLGs should be the ones driving the coronavirus awareness and assisting to enforcing the state of emergency restrictions as majority of the populace they represent live in the rural areas.
However, our intended duties are not carried out due to the unavailability of funds.
Can relevant authorities make the LLGs workable by releasing funds and entitlements such as monthly wages and allowances?
