Ganim deserves apology

I REFER to the letter “Ganim, please focus on serving Wabag” (Feb 28).

With due respect, I apologise to MPā€ˆRobert Ganim as the letter was published without my approval or knowledge although it bears my name as the writer.

It is totally embarrassing as it brings about a bad image to me and the Rakamanda Restoration Committee.

The commitment by Don  Polye  and   his  government  has  been  greatly  welcomed  by  the  Seventh  Day Adventist (SDA) Church and its Enga members. Likewise, my committee and I are looking forward to receiving such assistance,  we do not burst out against our leaders.

Such letters are from selfish individuals, who have   no  care  for  the  church or its members.

Elected members are given the mandate by us to serve us for a five-year term and so, we look upon them for services and not criticise them.

Finally, the members of the SDA Church of Enga, together with the local community of Rakamanda, salute Polye and his government for their commitment.

Chris Kandege
