Genuine landowners must be wary of ‘leaders’

Letters, Normal

I refer to Luke Lubia’s press release (The National, June 11) and correlate the same with the article by Andria Juli and Ami Tumbu in a Sunday paper which names John Ipitari alias Jalirimako and Pitz Davii for previous articles which they reckon do not serve their interest.
It is a pity to read such negative comments, however, their views are respected.
I am Jalirimako and have no idea who John Ipitari is.
In Hela region, a man dies a hero protecting his land, pig and women.
I am pleased that my letters have been read far and wide and I have Juli, Tumbu, Hela MPs and Hela people as my network of readers.
I will continue to write until crooks understand there is no place for them in Hela.
As such, I urge all Angore landowners from Tari-Pori, Koroba-Lake Kopiago and Komo-Margarima to look out for so-called landowners and their leaders who sold our land for peanuts as confirmed by former attorney-general Dr Allan Marat.
The same view must be taken by all genuine landowners of Hides, Angore and Juha regardless of how those who signed the UBSA and LBBSA explain.
