Getting Gospel in a twist

CERTAIN preachers of a particular denomination are going around using fear tactics to scare people into joining their denomination.
They are preaching another type of Gospel which is not the Gospel as defined by Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.
That is that God’s power to save any sinner who believes in Christ substitutionary death alone for his eternal salvation: Roman1:16, 10:9-10.
While there are many verses they use in their preaching, one verse that catches my attention because of their gross misinterpretation, misapplication and constant usage is about the whore of Revelation 17.
While they are right by saying that this whore is represented by false worship system or churches, they are wrong to imply that all the Sunday worshipers are identified by that whore.
The truth is that they too are also included.
