GG, wife host lunch for church delegation

GOVERNOR-General Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae and Lady Emeline Dadae hosted a delegation from Lutheran church in Ukata, Morobe, at a luncheon at Government House.
The Ukata district is made up of Ulep, Kabwum and Teptep districts and circuits.
The 14-member delegation are attending the synod of the Evangelical Lutheran church in Port Moresby which ends today.
Sir Bob took time to show the delegation around Government House and later introduced them to Lady Emeline.
In a brief introduction to Sir Bob and Lady Emeline, most of the members said that this was their first time to travel to Port Moresby and that many of them served the church in various roles in remote areas of Morobe.
The delegation thanked Sir Bob for the opportunity to visit the Government House which they described as a rare honour and blessing.
The women in the delegation presented traditional headband and necklaces and bilums to Sir Bob and Lady Emeline.
