Veteran Peter Milaura and youngster Obert Muri were the pick of the Giants as the dominated the centre square with possessions and disposals to ensure the Giants stayed competitive.

The Giants were all fired up for a win when play resumed in the final quarter.

The Demons all-round experience, however began came into its own with experienced ruckman Barnabas Gereson, Herald Kali, Richard Rawali and new recruit Tau Morove starting to assert themselves and regain the momentum.

This forced Giants into defensive errors resulting in two 50 meter penalties.

The Dees successfully converted the free kicks to overtake the lead and finally win the match 8.5 (51) to 6.7 (45).
