Give jobs to local teachers

 I SUPPORT a letter from ‘Disgruntled Graduate – TSC must recognize DWU qualification’ (The National – August, 18). If the Education Department is serious in addressing the teachers shortages in PNG then this is where it steps in to help our own people find employment to make up for the shortages experience in some places and also in return gives back to our young children and not going for some expensive overseas shopping spree to places like Fiji to hire teachers as if we don’t have the expertise and skills to perform these teaching roles.
