TOP seeds Golo missed many chances in the 4-0 drubbing of the City Kings last week at Bisini.

The p[ening 25 minutes saw Golo taking control as the players combined well.

Golo striker Kule Walo scored the first two goals as his side deprived City Kings of possession.

Despite a several failed attempts to score further, Golo came out with great confidence as they lead 3-0.

The second half was as interesting as the first as the Golo players kept up their brick wall defence.

That kept the undermanned Kings on the back foot.

The Kings had a few shots at goal but they were largely off target.

Their efforts to score were thwarted by talented Golo goalkeeper, Raisol Gele.

Gele displayed great catches and good reflexes to keep the Kings at bay.

That enabled Golo to concentrate on attack and they soon scored again to go 4-0 ahead.

Golo has been for some time on the top of the table in the PMSA premier league.

In 18 games, Golo has been scoring an average of over 2.5 goals per game.  Golo is mainly composed of grassroots players from Hula, chiefly from around Kamali, but with a colourful composition of players from Australia, the Philippines and China.

There is talk of Golo going into the PMSA Super League next year, and that their sponsor, NWTL, has said they are willing to consider the staying with the team.
