Good progress in preparations

AROMA Coast 7s tournament officials Pala Leva and Billy Rapilla are happy with the progress of preparations, following a meeting with the host organising committee last weekend.
They said the committee, headed by Areni Josiah, reported that preparations were well underway and the Lalaura village community were looking forward to hosting the event.
Meanwhile, the final Warumana team (Lalaura) for the upcoming Aroma Coast 7s next month were names after selection trials were held last Saturday.
Team selectors announced a 30-man training squad to represent the two Warumana teams.
The selected players are: Manu Guise, Douglas Guise, Caspar Kwalu, Terence Uvau, Amos Rario, Billy Aeva, Kone Areni, Jason Rario, Kwapena Emilio, Alu Joe, Imani Matuka, Bete Rario, Carl Gawa, Kila Guise, Nelliada Guise, Kone Rario, Jerry Omaro, Joe Polisbo, Tony Irumo, Sifu Kaiulo, Robert Leva, Kevin Kwalu, Philemon Kaiulo, Jerry Ravu, James Teina, Jason Ivali, Reggie Steven, Ricky Gena, Wilson Rapilla and Vanua Puro. Team coaches are Douglas Guise and Larry Gena.
The team are looking forward to playing against some of Aroma’s top teams including Vewala Pelagai and defending champions Viriolo Sharks who are favourites to defend their 2011 AC7s title.
