Goods, service cost getting expensive

I WRITE after having felt the pinch of high prices of goods and services in some parts of Bulolo in Morobe.
The Bulolo PMV Association have determined a surcharge in passenger fares as well as in freight charges of market vegetables and of store goods which become effective on Nov 5.
This surcharge in freight charges had obviously led to a significant increase in prices of trade store goods, of which most consumers such as me had been unable to withstand.
Can the Independent Consumer & Competition Commission (ICCC) investigate this matter so as to ensure that the prices of goods and services here should not be too excessive?
