THE Port Moresby South Rugby League (PMSRL) board has readmitted Gorobe Panthers for the 2019 season.
PMSRL chairman Brown Murema said the Panthers would return in place of the suspended Warako Storm ahead of the opener in April.
The Panthers join champions Vadavada United, Kaugere Bulldogs, Gabutu Dragons, Muniogp Knights, Koni Sharks, Koki Eels, Talai Spartans, 2 Mile United, Joyce Bay Roosters, Sub City Raiders, Kipo Eastern Pride, 6-Mile Dustco, Vikings, Korobsea (Southern) Sons and Miro Koivi West. Murema said no new teams would be accepted.
He warned all 16 clubs to comply with Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League by having teams for the A-grade, Under-20 and women’s divisions.
Murema said the clubs should settle their affiliation fee of K1500 by March, before attending the annual general meeting (AGM).
“All the club presidents and treasurers should present their annual reports at the AGM,” he said.
“We will not entertain clubs that are poorly managed.”
