THE Court House and facilities in Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province, needs urgent upgrade to meet growing demand.

Concerns have been raised time and again but its falling on deaf ears. The colonial built facilities cut cater for the growing population.

One of the reasons why court cases are taking so many years to complete is the inadequacy of courtrooms, especially for the National Court.

It is unfair and an injustice to the people of Goroka and Eastern Highlands with court cases lasting for years.

It is our right to be provided with a decent and effective judicial service. Eastern Highlands leaders must do their part to ensure justice is seen to be done to their people.
