Government challenged

Letters

OUR country Papua New Guinea has vast minerals, oil, gas, timber, fish and cash crops but proceeds from these resources do not seem to have any impact on the lives of the people.
A real impact will be felt if a packet of rice and a tin of fish are subsidised and reduced to a reasonable price for the low earners to afford.
Where is justice when benefits of the so-called resources extracted are not felt?
The Government is focusing on building wharves, airports, roads and other city limit infrastructures which are for the benefit and convenience of the few fortunate and rich ones.
Our Government, please do something remarkable to let the least-fortunate ones smile and rejoice.
