Govt depts need to work together

THE Department of Personal Management has forgotten that human resource functions have been delegated to other Government departments, including provincial governments.
It is also trying to reinstate terminated officers without consulting departments concerned or waiting for them to be cleared by the PSC (Public Service Committee).
My question is whose interest is the DPM serving?
Aren’t Government departments supposed to work together?
As custodians of the public service general orders, they should know better, or are they serving or obeying other orders?
It’s time Government departments and agencies work in consultation on dealing with such issues to save time and cost.
