Govt failed to solve problems with OBE

Letters

THE Government and those tasked to solve the problems associated with outcome-based education curriculum have failed to solve them.
The Government should have done many changes to save Papua New Guinea.
Elementary schools and teachers should have been removed from the education system.
Elementary schooling is the foundation level of learning.
This is the first rung of a ladder.
To be a teacher, you should have enough content knowledge in many subjects.
Elementary school teachers have no content knowledge.
What do they teach their students? They know nothing so they teach nothing.
Many elementary school teachers are using forged certificates to be employed. Our Government is not pragmatic.
Instead of taking drastic actions, it has made things worse.
We are now thrown out of the frying pan and into the fire.
It appears that the devil that introduced OBE is still hard at work.
The Education Department should be careful.
